CDBS Child Dental Benefits Schedule

ImpressiveSmiles is currently treating eligible children under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) and bulk billing through Medicare, as long as there are available funds from the dental cap.

The CDBS is a Medicare program that offers basic dental services to eligible children based on means testing. These services are capped at $1000 over two consecutive calendar years, starting when a child or teenager receives their first eligible dental service.

Included dental services are:

• Examinations

• X-rays

• Cleaning

• Fissure sealing

• Fillings

• Root canals

• Extractions

• Partial dentures

Please note that the CDBS does not cover orthodontic or cosmetic dental work, and it excludes dental services provided in a hospital setting.
